The lemon cocktail and truffle fries were DELICIOUS and served with a smile. The blackened chicken was flavorful and cooked to perfection. Highly recommended especially for Happy Hour (5-6).. The dark ambiance was lacking--traditional diner meets small swanky bar with hand-shaken drinks. Best of all, we finished the evening with unexpected sweet treats--chocolate chip cookies straight from the oven!
Just found Bonita Bistro looking around on Google and Ooooh what a find. Made a reservation but found a couple barstools open and so lucky we did. Ryan the bartender & GM was a delight and shared background on Chef Patrick Hicks and the menu all while making many wonderful libations for everyone in the restaurant. We had read in previous reviews that they are known for their Smash-burgers so we grabbed hold with both hands. She had the regular burger while I opted for the Lamb smash burger. They didn’t disappoint, good size double patty with a great in-house sauces on both. But oh my the tallow fries were so delicious as the side car I could have eaten a whole plate of them. We saw so many other delicious looking things coming from the kitchen we can’t wait to come back. See you soon!!!
We recently visit and it was our first time and all i can say is FANTASTIC, Ryan and Kyle were amazing at the bar, delicious drinks and amazing customer service and attention to detail. The food from the chef was phenomenal, we asked for our burgers to be split so we can try them together and the chef went ahead and gave us a plate of fries with the half of the burgers!!!! Phenomenal. This is a Gem in Bonita Springs and as locals we are we will be coming back to try more drinks and food.
Truly a little hidden gem in Bonita Springs. Ryan the bartender was knowledgable and friendly. He gave great recommendations and mixes some great drinks. The grouper tostada starter special was fantastic and easily the best pork chop I’ve had in the states. Definitely worth the visit!
I just went in for first time to try to score a burger to go, 30 min before close… i was met w the best vibes in town. Island vibes and laid back with very sharp staff and menu. This spot cooks with No SEED OILS! I’m sitting at the beach five minutes away from the restaurant , writing this before I even finish the best burger I have had in years! Shout out Ryan main bartender for the good talk story and great vibes. Owner absolutely crushed in the kitchen, the thickest juiciest double stack beef tallow SMASH burger in less than 10 min. The Smashburgers are thicker than a regular burger. Thats it, Im a regular off rip from here out Guaranteed!
