Coast Dental is absolutely the best dental office I have been to and I’ve been to a few in my 50 years. The staff is very welcoming and makes you feel like family. They make sure you’re informed of all the assessed needs and potential charges so that you can make an informed decision at all times. This is the only dental office that I will be going to from now on to keep my teeth shiny and healthy.
I can’t say enough great things about this dental office! Irina at the front desk is always so kind and welcoming. Juan is knowledgeable, genuinely attentive, and went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable and fully informed every step of the way. He even followed up the next day to ensure I was feeling okay after my visit. Dr. Luu was warm, comforting, and made what could have been a stressful visit feel easy and reassuring. It’s rare to find a dentist and hygienist who combine such skill with true compassion for their patients. I am truly grateful to have found a dental office that truly prioritizes their patients' well-being from start to finish. I would highly recommend Coast Dental to anyone looking for exceptional dental care!
My experience at Coast Dental with Dr. Claudine Luu was extremely negative. I went to the clinic for a chipped crown, but the doctor recommended a bridge without checking that my teeth had the correct height to support it. She wore down a healthy tooth, even though another dentist later told me a bridge should only be done if both supporting teeth are damaged. Every time I went back, she gave me a long list of procedures and made me sign documents for many additional treatments. The pain in that tooth was so severe that I suffered for six months. When I returned to ask for help, the manager was never there and refused to assist me. Only partial help was offered, and it was not enough. I strongly advise other patients to thoroughly review their options and avoid this clinic at all costs, as the lack of care from both the doctor and the manager caused me lasting physical and financial harm.
As a new patient, I appreciated a comprehensive review and treatment plan from both the hygienist and dentist. Very thorough and both spent a lot of time educating. No rushed appointments.
First visit. I generally dislike dental offices because of the pain, discomfort, and expense often involved. However, this visit was a very positive experience. The front desk staff was warm and welcoming—a great start. After a thorough evaluation, a clear treatment plan was created. Dr. Peralta took the time to explain in detail the work I need, and he truly understood my concerns and priorities. Juan Carlos was excellent during my hygiene visit—professional, sincere, and compassionate. He helped me thoughtfully design a treatment plan that balances what needs to be done in the remaining days of December with priorities for 2026, while also taking into account insurance coverage and overall cost. Overall, a reassuring and well-coordinated experience.
