I was driving by and noticed the walk-up ordering window, so I turned around and decided to stop, and I’m so glad I did. I enjoyed a chicken empanada, a guava and cheese pastry, and a croquette. Everything was tasty and satisfying. The service was super friendly, which made the experience even better. It turned into such a simple but enjoyable little moment, sitting on their bench, eating my food, and watching the traffic go by. Sometimes the unplanned stops are the best ones.

When I got there to pick up my take out order the 2 women at the counter completely ignored me for 5 min, with no other customer at the window they were to deep into there conversation. It took an another lady by the food window to yell at them to take care of me. Issue 2 when I got home to eat my food there was mold in my salad on my tomatoes and carrots. A serious food and health violation. I’ll be contacting someone to investigate this case. Beware and check your food.

Unfortunately someone from the current staff working the counter, a young woman with longer hair on 7-15-26 into the early morning of 7-16-26 tried to steal my new iPhone. They “checked the bathroom2x” and said no luck, then she would not take my contact info down if they found it, said she “checked throughly and I can’t come in after 11pm as they are closed And that is Havana policy”. I have been in the restaurant industry for decades, never head of anyone not wanting to take down a name and phone number upon request for an expensive lost item of a paying customer. I had already left a beyond generous cash tip. After running to a friend’s home near by and signing into my “find my” phone application, my Lost phone was still on and pinging at the restaurant. After driving back a few miles, & after the police were notified to come and make a report, the lovely and kind officer found my phone in the garbage there in the restaurant immediately. Lots of messages and notifications to my phone trying to send to an alternate number to erase the phone. Also my AirTag sound was set so low no one could hear it, but the officer did her due diligence and found my phones blinking light with no sound, in the garbage can in the bathroom I thought it was left in. I would never have been able send all those phone requests to reset itself from so far away, someone silenced the phone and slid it into the garbage until everyone was gone to grab it. Beware of employees unfortunately. Great food, not great staff. This is not the staff as a whole. Others were kind. Such as life, I hope She finds god and I have already let go and forgiven. I wish you the best young woman. I hope you find an honestly way though life.

I’m always on the hunt for a good Cuban restaurant to satisfy my cravings, and Havana Restaurant definitely did not disappoint! The batido de mango was absolutely delicious, and the bistec empanizado was perfection…crispy, flavorful, and just how it should be. All the food was amazing, and the service was friendly and welcoming. I believe this was our second visit, though the first was many years ago, and it was just as great as I remembered. I’ll definitely be back! 🇨🇺✨

I am so bummed out. I have been coming here for years every time we come visit, which is very frequently. However, this time it has been about a year. The food has definitely changed. They changed something in all of their food. The Cuban sandwiches dont taste the same, empanadas are no longer tasty, and my ultimate favorite dish, the camarones al ajillo, is sadly not the same. For the first time, I will say, I will not be coming back. This week I've been there twice and the second time confirmed it. What did you guys do? Please go back to how your food was. So I can come back again 😢
