Great experience! Friendly staff, quality service, thoughtful care, and best of all - pay per visit laser hair removal! So much better than a huge package deal a competitor tried to sell me. 🤦♀️
I received my Sculptra treatment from Caroline Riddick, NP and Michelle Mays, NP. They were amazing!! - very professional, skilled, courteous, and knowledgeable. I am so pleased with the results and will definitely be going back.
I originally signed and paid for a treatment plan with Ideal Image. With little warning and with no option for a partial refund, Ideal Image switched to Elase and my contract was transferred to them. This caused multiple administrative issues. I travel for work, and Ideal Images were everywhere: that’s why I went with them since laser is something you have to be consistent with over time to get results, and I could go to any location. Elase has far fewer locations than Ideal Image did, so this meant I had to travel out of state to receive my treatments. I signed the contract with Ideal in Greenville, and that particular location changed to Elase, so my contract was transferred to them while other Ideal Image locations changed to a different provider. This meant I could no longer go to the Ideal Image location I regularly had appointments at, because that location changed to SEV and my contract transferred based on the location I signed at. They were closed for renovations for months to change the aesthetic of the facility to look like an Elase. Upon reopening I went to one appointment, which went well, then scheduled my next appointment 8 weeks out. Less than a week before my appointment, they cancelled on me and said they’ll be closed for staff and scheduling changes for several weeks. I’d like to emphasize that the laser treatment is working well, the techs and people who work there are lovely, and the experience is great once I’m there. But due to multiple closures and administrative transitions, it’s become very difficult for me to even schedule an appointment. I would schedule with another Elase location, but there are few of them, they’re far away, and many don’t offer the type of laser treatment that I paid for. The people who work there are excellent at their jobs, but administratively it’s been a nightmare to navigate.
I began going to this salon when it was Ideal Image. I was very pleased with the results and the payment plan was affordable. With my package, u are given a lifetime satisfaction guarantee. They provide touch ups at a discount price. I started the touch ups with Elase, no problem. However when I’ve called the last few times to schedule, I was ignored. On a whim, I called from my work phone and the call was answered on the 3rd ring. Customer service is super important and I’m a paying customer who was treated poorly for reason unknown. For this reason, I would not recommend. I would like to note prior to this incident. I’ve always recommended them to women in my same position.
like 2 of the other recent reviews, I originally signed up for laser hair removal treatments through Ideal Image, which I had 0 issues with for about 2 years. Thankfully, I completed my initial 8 sessions just in time so that I could qualify for free lifetime touch ups through Ideal Image. Then, it was announced that Ideal Image was being bought out by Elase and the clinic was closed for months. I decided to be patient, even though communication from the clinic absolutely lacked during that time period. It took multiple phone calls and an email to finally get an idea of what was going on. I was told that I wouldn’t be able to get free touch ups anymore, instead they would be at a discounted rate (I think 40% off?) through Elase. Because the clinic staff was still the same (they’ve been great at appts), I was getting SOME sort of discount, and Elase offered more flexible laser hair removal service options (can do one visit for 1 area, don’t have to invest in a whole package), I decided to stick with Elase. Well, unfortunately, I tried to book a touch up appointment on the app over a month ago and saw something like the attached image states… nothing available. I reached out by phone and was told they would be reaching back out to me in a few weeks when they had sorted some things out. I haven’t heard anything since. So anyway, that inspired me to finally get established with an electrologist for one of my treatment areas because laser clearly wasn’t a good fit for it. A blessing in disguise I guess! I am open to going back to Elase when they finally open the schedule back up for my other treatment area but there is definitely room for improvement with this company. Ideal Image appeared to be so much more on top of things. Btw, I would definitely have a stronger opinion about this if I was mid-treatment for an area (needed to be seen every 6-8 weeks) rather than just needing a touch ups… I can only imagine the frustration of those individuals.
