My daughter has attended lessons at Fir Tree for many years and she’s loved it. Friendly staff & nice relaxed environment to learn horse riding. We understand that the Farm is currently under threat from a solar farm proposal, and we fully support Fir Tree in opposition to this plan which would diminish this successful amenity and reduce valuable green space for the area. Highly recommended Centre.
My daughter has been coming here since Feb '22 doing a mix of private and groups lessons as well as some activity sessions (pony day). Her instructor Tayla, is excellent with the students and really quite patient at times. Lessons are all graded so students are all of a similar level. The ECPro booking app is pretty good, but the app, seems to be missing stuff that the website has, but don't think Firtree can do much about that. Once students are 12 they are able to go help around the school at weekends and holidays which she is super excited about. Overall, it's a great Riding School and would recommend to anyone. Update: 16/01/24. The daughter is still loving lessons here.
My son had his first lesson today and although it was a bit tricky to find as the sat nav took me another way, it was worth it. The lady on reception was lovely and welcoming, very very helpful. The riding instucter and the helpers were just amazing, everything was explained and with a lovely relaxed atmosphere. We will be def coming back, fantastic 👌
It is so difficult to just check the bookings and course prices. It keeps asking you to create an account at first and then register rider details! It’s simply frustrating. You can take all the information when a person is making a booking. Not when somebody is just on the site to check the prices and classes offered.
Lovely place and great for a little girls birthday! All had a fab time, and the people were all lovely!
