Working with Blount and Curry Life Center was an exceptional experience. I assisted a friend who recently lost a loved one to find a reputable funeral company to work with. We were warmly greeted by Emma at the front desk. The facilities were great! I was very impressed by Suzie’s (funeral director) empathy, compassion, and how thoroughly she was at explaining to the family all of their options. She took quality time to answer their questions, and re-explained a few things for clarity. My friends were so grateful that they selected this funeral home.

If you could personify kindness, patience, comfort, and work ethic, you would have Suzie, and Jeana. They went way above and beyond ensuring everything was explained clearly, guiding us through the whole process on one of the worst days of our lives. My Dad was exceptionally frugal, before he passed he explicitly requested a "no frills" funeral for himself, which I honored. The low cost request had absolutely no bearing on the exceptional quality of service Suzie, and Jeana provided. My Mom who suffers from dementia had difficulty understanding what was happening and requested alot of non standard things that typical funeral homes don't usually provide as a way to mourn the death of her husband of almost 60 years. Suzie, without hesitation fulfilled her requests eagerly- giving my Mom a bit closer, and much needed of comfort. It was quite obvious to my wife and I that Suzie had passion for her work, and had great understanding on the absolute importance of helping people on the what is probably most's worst day of their lives. Thank you Blount & Curry you honored my Dad beautifully.

From start to finish I had an amazing experience. The team was so professional and accommodating. They even brought table cloths from another location because it was my mom’s favorite color. They did miss any small details. I told them my budget and they did not try to sell me on anything else. I can really appreciate that. The Chaplin was 5 stars too. Highly Recommend!!

Blount & Curry Funeral Home provided exceptional care from the very first call through the funeral day. They handled every detail with compassion and professionalism, including transporting our loved one from one state to another—something they managed seamlessly and with great respect. Their preparation, guidance, and support made an incredibly difficult time much easier for our family. We are truly grateful for their outstanding service and dedication.

Under two very unfortunate circumstances, the South Tampa Blount & Curry team handled services for both my mom and dad and there aren’t enough words to express how personable, compassionate, kind and dedicated the team is. My family and I will forever be grateful. Keep up the passion, it makes a difference! There is nothing I can say could have been done better, I truly mean it when I say everything was perfect!
