As lifelong Disney fans we have to say this production was truly "worth melting for." From the incredible performances, beautiful vocals, stunning costumes, creative set design, and impressive special effects to the heartfelt storytelling, every detail felt magical. The talent on that stage was one of the best Disney productions we've seen! The entire cast was phenomenal but Anna and Kristoff completely stole the show for us with their chemistry, comedic timing, and performances. They had us laughing nonstop. At the same time, I had tears streaming down my face because I was so genuinely happy and immersed in the magic of it all. What impressed us most was that this wasn't just a show for kids. The entire audience, adults included, was captivated from beginning to end. It truly felt like stepping into Arendelle for the evening. As our first experience at Greenville Theatre since moving here from Florida, it exceeded every expectation. The cast, crew, musicians, and creative team deserve all the praise for delivering such a high-quality production. We left with hearts thawed and already looking forward to our next visit. Bravo to everyone involved; you created pure Disney magic!
We are fortunate to have several wonderful theaters in Greenville and the Greenville Theater is no exception. Their production values, season selections, acting, and staging is top notch. The house itself is in need of refurbishment. The acoustics also need some work. Beverages, snacks, and theater swag is available for purchase. But it is still a gem of a theater and we enjoy attending there. The photo is of the set from STEEL MAGNOLIAS, a great show. The set was well conceived and executed.
Attended the opening night of Steel magnolias and it was fantastic! Loved the set design and the acting was great. The facilities were nicely maintained and easy to access.
Been going to the Greenville Theater for 26 years as season ticket holders. We really enjoy the shows. Local people put on great shows of all types. Just saw Frozen. It was excellent.
My husband and I have had the pleasure of Living in many big cities, including New York with access to Broadway shows The performance we attended today of Steel Magnolias was by far the absolute best play we’ve ever seen. we laughed we cried, and we laughed again. The actresses were magnificent and the comedic timing was brilliant.
