After buying our bungalow which needed updating and remodelling for our retirement, we employed JW Dickinson Ltd to carry out the work. We are very are pleased with the alterations and renovations completed by James and his team. The project was finished to a high standard with excellent attention to detail throughout and we incorporated a number of James suggestions. The builders were professional, reliable and respectful of our home at all times. The improvements have transformed the space and significantly enhanced both its appearance and functionality. We would happily recommend James and his team to anyone considering home improvements or renovations work

I would highly recommend James and his team, due to the high quality of work and overall service they provided. James is an efficient and knowledgeable Project Manager who provided great solutions, advice and ideal supplier contacts throughout our building work. His team offered a full service covering most trades, they were timely, plus very clean and tidy. The team also included apprentices, which I highly commend. The overall quality of the work was excellent, and what made the project first class was the finishing touches, attention to detail, and providing a full cleaning service for our home once all was complete.

Used JW Dickinson recently to knock out a doorway, install a pocket door, rebuilt panelling and make it match to the original. Really pleased with their work.. lovely lads onsite, James the owner kept checking in on progress, everyone turned up on time everyday, did a great job and tidied up every evening. I’ll be using them again.. would highly recommend.

We used JW Dickinson Ltd for a kitchen extension and remodelling of existing spaces in our Edwardian terraced property in Jesmond. Having spoken with a number of building companies, from the outset we knew that James and his team were the right fit for us. James and his whole team were fantastic and the results are amazing - we are delighted with it. Nothing was too much trouble, the team were flexible and gave great advice and ideas and the attention to detail is above and beyond anything I have experienced before; James has such exacting standards.
