My family had multiple cases handled by this firm, and after reviewing the settlement statements, I was extremely disappointed with the results. In one case, a $9,000 settlement resulted in only $2,194.89 reaching the client after attorney fees, costs, and medical deductions. In another case, a $1,000 settlement resulted in only $153.62 reaching the client. While I understand that attorneys are entitled to fees and that medical providers may need to be paid, it was frustrating to see such a large portion of the settlements go elsewhere while the actual clients received a relatively small percentage of the recovery. What bothered me most was feeling that the final outcome did not match the expectations we had when the cases began. Clients deserve clear communication, transparency about deductions, and a full explanation of why a case is settling for a particular amount. Based on my personal experience, I would not use this firm again. I have had a better experience with Morgan & Morgan and would encourage anyone looking for legal representation to compare firms carefully before making a decision.
