Our daughter started at KA at 10 weeks old, very shortly after KA first opened, and (a blink later!) is now soon to graduate and head to preschool. KA has been spectacular through and through. The school is loving, nurturing, supportive, clean and full of fun activities. My daughter has thrived, with so many great friends and teachers, and so many fun things each day. She loves the play nook, book corner and circle time. Meals are all coordinated from a neighboring restaurant, so the kids eat well and with a healthy variety. They have a “book library” you can borrow from. AND They have parent-accessible cameras so you can check in on your kiddo through the day! We feel so lucky to have been a part of the KA ‘Ohana and are so thankful. When I was dropping off my baby so I could head to work, I always knew that she would be loved, well fed, clean and cared for. After over 2.5yrs, they have done and been so much more. In addition to the amazing teachers, the management at KA are incredible. They are hands-on, friendly and accommodating, and truly care about the daycare and the children. When a child is hurt or sick or having a tough day, they will often be found on the laps of Ronna (the owner) or Keesha (the manager), so they can get some extra attention to help ease whatever the issue. We cannot recommend KA enough for your little one! Ps. Tell Keesha I say hi!!

My child has been attending Kiddie Academy since they first opened doors in September 2023. The great thing about this Academy is that they are conveniently located in Downtown, and within walking distance of my home and workplace. One thing that makes them unique is that parents are given access to the center’s cameras so you can see your child. Since attending the academy, I’ve seen my son grow and become more independent. He’s shown new communication skills and gained social skills. The center is spacious and clean, and the teachers are all very kind and you can see how much they care about your child. The director, Ronna, is very responsive and prompt with your inquiries. She’s always addressed any concerns or questions I had.

New facility which appears clean and modern. Denise and Dagny are AWESOME teachers and our son loved them in the toddler class. Unfortunately our son went through 6 teachers in just 5 months and didn’t get to have them the whole time. The owners are physically there each day which you can tell makes a big difference compared to other daycares. Kiddie Academy is definitely one of the most clean, safe, and responsive daycares you’ll find on island.

We have had the best experience at Kiddie Academy. The facility is very clean, the operation is organized and well run thanks to Ronna and Keesha, the communication is great, the meals provided are very well planned/nutritious, and of course, the teachers are amazing. Our daughter had Ms. Kimmie, Ms. Anna, and Ms. Liz (along with a few others) and we always felt confident that she was being very well looked after under their care. The staff is so cheerful, kind, anticipates parents’ needs, and they’re also very flexible and helpful :) KA also has video cameras, so if you’re missing your little one and feel like checking in to see what they’re up to, you can do so (such a huge perk). Our daughter has grown and developed so much during her time at KA!! We highly recommend KA to anyone looking for child care in downtown honolulu (such a convenient location with easy/quick parking situation for pick up and drop off!)

My son has been at Kiddie Academy since he was four and a half months old. We have had nothing but positive experiences in the past eight months. The staff are knowledgeable, kind, and supportive. My son loves his teachers and is learning new skills all the time. We feel lucky to have found Kiddie Academy.
