My family and I have been using Kirkwood for years. They’ve done the electrical work for our homes after the flooding in Ian, Helene and Milton. I had an emergency shut off today by LCEC and I immediately called Kirkwood Electric. Susanna (I’m sorry if this is incorrect), answered and was able to assist me and was able to bear with me in my frantic state of thought. She said she would get with Ashley and see how soon they can get techs out to me and understood I was worried about my animals. I received a call back from Ashley telling me they had some techs free up and they would be at my house shortly. All this within an hour. The techs are here now doing their diagnostics. Words cannot express how grateful I am with their customer service. Having no power is stressful enough, but having to worry about hot animals in the June heat on top of that is a whole other issue. Ashley walked me through the emergency permitting process and calmed my nerves. Francisco and his team are here now and also explained to me the issues and that they would be pulling an emergency permit and my power reconnected with LCEC no problem. Immediate relief. Kirkwood will always be our go to and I can’t recommend them enough. Thank you team!

I have to give this company 5 stars or more. Half of the electric in my home was going off for hours at a time and then come back on. Throughout the day and night. There were other electric companies that came out to look and give estimates. They looked at the electric panel and right away said that was the problem and it needed to be replaced. It was very old. So I got that. But when Lance from Kirkwoid electric came out he too said the electric panel needed to be replaced, but what he did that no one else did was he went outside and checked the main wires coming from the meter to the house and determined that the problem was there. So his team cane out the next day and dug up the wires and replaced them. Now I have full power. Its been 4 days and not one blip out of the ele tric. Yes I do still need to have the panel replaced because it is over 40 yrs old. They are replacing that next week. By the way their price for the whole job was less than the other for only the electric panel replacement. Lance is very knowledgeable especially when it comes to mobile homes. The crew that cane out and did the work were on time, very courteous and very nice. Great job to Frank, Shawn, Gina, Rob and Francisco. Great tem work.

We recently had storm shutters installed and the contractor drove some attaching screws into the electrical wiring. We didn’t notice anything wrong until after the contractor had left. And because it was after business hours we couldn’t contact them. So we contacted Kirkwood Electric and told them what we needed and they had a crew at our house in a very short time. They figured out right where the trouble was and had it fixed in just about 2 hours. They repaired the wire and installed a new outlet and function checked the circuit. They had to make a cut in the wall to replace a section of wire but they installed a new outlet at the cut and when they were finished there was no visible signs of damage and the outlet looked as though it had always been there. And they left no mess behind. I used to work as the Housekeeper at the community we live in and knew about Kirkwood Electric as they took care of all the electrical work in the new homes delivered to community. I was very familiar with the quality of their work and they were my first choice to call when we needed repairs. They didn’t disappoint us. I can highly recommend them for any kind of repair work.

Josha installed a generator inlet and interlock in my electrical panel. He is great to work with - knowledgeable, personable, and an excellent communicator. He knows the electrical code, and is "safety-first" in everything he does. He got everything installed and walked me through everything I needed to know and answered all of my questions. It couldn't have been a better customer experience, and I was very happy with the result. Lance answered very detailed questions that I had before undertaking the project, and made sure that everything was handled to my specifications. He is great to work with.

Joshua was awesome. I’ve had two experiences with Kirkwood Electric, and both were excellent. It took them 20 minutes to troubleshoot the problem which ends up being an FPL problem. They are definitely relationship oriented and great to work with.
