Was interested in the $1.50 oysters at Happy hour and we were told we could only get them by going to the bar there weren't enough seats for our party at the bar so I sat down and ordered but then the rest of the party went to the front desk and they wouldn't see us without me present so I had to cancel my order and then go and sit at the table and I couldn't get the oysters really upsetting to have customer service so stupid like this. This was the older lady at the front desk. We did wait longer than normal to get our waters refilled or to bring additional cocktail sauce when we asked for some so the service is average or slightly below average in my opinion. We ask for grilled fish but it was obviously boiled and then dusted with the blackened spices but it wasn't blackened in a pan like it should be. The quality of the ingredients was above average and that would be the only positive thing I have to say.
I can't say enough good things about this place. The best fish I have ever had X2. So much food for the price and ther service is outstanding and friendly! The warm table bread OMG!! Go everyday you can!
Super quick and friendly service. I never got to meet Mr.Bigfish, but he's got some great food. Lobster bisque was decent - could use a little more spice, but good. The angry lobster pasta was amazing - absolutely recommend it. For the price, it was awesome. Definitely recommend Mr.Bigfish!
Mr. Big Fish was the choice made by some friends, it had very good service and a nice menu selection. Only complaints are that it is overcrowded - it was 5:30 on a Monday, and overpriced for the seating arrangement - we all felt rushed and not as relaxed as we should have been for that price. Nothing wrong with the Angry Lobster Pasta, it was delicious, as well as the Scallops were delicious too, but they were overpriced. Our friends had Ĺump Crab Cakes and Swordfish, which they said were their favorites. The Caesar Salad that came with some of the meals was one if the wimpiest I have seen or had for this class of restaurant. But the sides of both the Potatoes Gu Gratin and Onion Rings were delicious.
We loved it! Great service from Henri, who was happy to check on a couple of allergens for us. We enjoyed talking with him, it seems like he likes his job very much. LOVE that. We were able to take time to look the menu over before making our decisions. The prices are excellent, for the amount of food you get, especially on the fresh catch. You get a salad and two sides with those meals. The blackening is perfect, whether the shrimp or the fish. Asparagus done perfectly. The cakes look incredible, they are massive slabs of cakes, but we were too full to try any. Next time, we are trying the carrot cake.
