I did not have a very good experience today at Officeworks. I am a university student having to print a portfolio and poster for one of my assessed classes. I have done this before at this location and the staff member helping me was lovely and very helpful. However, today was different. Obviously being the afternoon, the store was a little busier, but there was only three people in the print queue. The print itself took 30 minutes to be completed, which would have likely been halved had the staff member, who I believe to be a manager, had been focussed on the task and not getting sidetracked. I understand that as a manager, other staff may need help, but this was not communicated to me and she would walk off without a word, leaving me standing there. After my pages were printed, I asked if they could please be bound. She told me that would not be possible as they had large orders for binding that day. The binders were not currently in use and I know from previous experience that it takes about a minute to bind. I was also charged for almost all of my pages being in colour, when only a handful actually were. Overall, very poor customer service and an extreme degradation from the last time I had this service completed. If this was not the only option from printing and binding in my area, I would not be returning. I would expect better customer service from leadership.

Huge shoutout to Madi at Officeworks for going above and beyond today 🙌 I was in a tight spot needing printing done the same day, and Madi didn’t just help — she genuinely cared about getting it sorted properly and on time. Super helpful, patient, and made the whole process easy and stress-free. Customer service like that is hard to find these days — really appreciate it, Madi. Thanks again!

Really poor customer service from a group of 4 seperate front of house servers. The two people on the register argued with each other at the register & made no eye contact or acknowledgement that I was even standing there in front of them for quite some time. Then when they did finally serve me, again no eye contact or greeting, just more arguing. I was picking up click n collect order. Just told to stand to the side once they finally scanned my QR. I asked where would they like me to stand, given a very non-descriptive, “over there”. I waited for 20 minutes in store, approached the counter to wait another 10-15 mins to be served and the order hadn't even been retrieved from ‘out the back’ at all. I watched a group of 3 young girls just chat with their backs to me, not helping any customers, just doing their best to ignore us entirely. Zero customer focus or care factor. One worker clocking off was lovely and cheery, he also made comment to the young staff standing around, “come on, customer focus”. He had clearly noticed their lack of care or responsibility. One staff member whisked off, the other still just stood there chatting. No respect for their colleagues either. So incredibly frustrating. The person who eventually served me was lovely and attentive. He also acknowledged their lack of drive or focus after he apologised and stated “I don’t know whats going on over there at all”. Please speak to these young crew members about customer service and who pays their wages.

Gotta give a massive thankyou to Tim from the kangaroo Flat store. We had some issues with our bambu labs printer. After back and forth with bambu we went back into the store where we bought it.Tim was unreal to support us and was able to do a swap on a new unit. If officework kflat see this please let him know the amazing customer service he provided for us
