Without any notice about closing on Sunday today Feb. 1st. 2026, but here Google map says "opened", actually this gym is CLOSED even though roads are almost clear from snow. Why not open?
This one is the better of the two I go to. Way better than the one in Simpsonville. Nice staff, clean bathrooms, and the staff isn’t in their phones all the time. They say good morning and have a good day. Unlike the Simpsonville location, they are more about their phones and talking to one another and ignoring customers. Verdae is great place!
I’ve been a member at this Planet Fitness for a while, but the condition of the restrooms has become unacceptable. Only about half of the toilets and sinks are working, and the areas that are functional are consistently very dirty. I raised the issue with the front desk, but they said they weren’t sure if management plans to invest in fixing or improving the restrooms. Clean, functional restrooms are a basic expectation at any gym. Until this location commits to correcting these issues, I’d recommend checking out other nearby gyms in the area where facilities are better maintained and equipment is properly cared for. I hope management takes this seriously and invests in bringing the facility up to the standard members are paying for.
I absolutely love Planet Fitness. The staff there is absolutely amazing. So friendly and private. Have made friends with some of them. The facility is always kept up and kept clean. The environment is so friendly.
There were 2 men that came in the women's restroom. I don't think the mens room was down or anything, but I needed to use the shower and thank god I noticed them before I came out in a towel. They seemed too comfortable being there. I'm not sure if they knew it was the womens or not because they were speaking rapidly in a foreign language, but I got scared and stayed in the changing stalls until I heard them leave. I don't think anything came of it, but these were 2 big men near the shower rooms. I felt really unsafe.
