Today I stopped by Dune Dog Café for lunch, and from the outside… this place looks like a straight-up shack. But don’t let that fool you. I ordered the Leroy Brown’s Junkyard Dog, and this thing was ridiculous. Loaded with toppings, messy in the best possible way, and honestly one of the best hot dogs I’ve ever had in my life. It’s also the perfect low-key lunch spot to grab some good old American food with your friends. So if you’re in Jupiter, Florida, definitely check out Dune Dog Café… because sometimes the sketchiest looking places have the best food.

Dune Dog Cafe is an unassuming spot on the side of the road that has absolutely delicious hot dogs! They also have many other items on the menu, but I can only speak for the hotdogs. I got the foot long southwest dog, and that is basically a chili cheese dog, along with a basket of fries and rings. The hotdog was definitely delicious, with heart chili and shredded cheese neatly packed into a New England bun, which I prefer! The fries are waffle fries, and the onion rings were very crispy and flavorful as well! I’ve been twice now, and will absolutely return! Just a warning, it’s very busy so there will likely be a wait.

I was seated in the restaurant around 8:45 and was rushed to order. My appetizer was sent out by kitchen with cheese not melted on top of fries. when i asked a team member why fries looked that way she said “yep that’s how they come.” then another came over and said “thats how they come” they sent fries back which came with our meals. not before hand like they should have came. cheese was still not melted. they sent out our meals and my hot dog was 60% completely burned. i am actually horrified at the service i received. i have been coming here to this restaurant for over 20 years…since i was in elementary school. i will not be returning.

Food was ok and the portions aren't bad. Prices are good for sandwiches but a bit high for meals. We had the chicken finger meal, the fried clam meal, the fish and chips and the buffalo chicken something. I didn't like the clams they just tasted like breading. My daughter said the chicken fingers were bland and the buffalo chicken meal my other daughter got just came with the sauce on the side which she thought was odd. Service was very good and fast. The atmosphere was cool, it had a beach type vibe. Outdoor seating was nice because it's the fall, in the summer may be a bit hot. Overall I would go back there but order something different.

Super cool hiden gem. Great service and selections. Chili cheese dog and waffle fries were excellent, really cool outdoor seating
