Rick was a godsend during the excruciating process of a contentious custody battle with my ex. I was impressed and even shocked at his level of preparation going into our first consultation. Rick came with high recommendations by someone I trusted. He maintained good objectivity, assertiveness, and empathy throughout the whole process. All of the billing aligned realistically with the work which wasn't the case with my first attorney. It's not just about the rate but how much time an attorney bills at that rate is what really matters. I never felt he ever took advantage of that which so many can and will.
