The Sully’s Steamers is an excellent lunch selection. It was my first time at one of their locations. The Greenville SC location I visited was downtown and just off Main Street, in downtown Greenville. The Hello Newman steamed bagel was delicious. There are plenty of bagel choices, clean restaurant, with outdoor seating. It was definitely busy. The Hello Newman is an Asiago bagel, with horseradish, pastrami, bacon, onions, Muenster, sprouts, tomatoes, and mayo. The team is very helpful and provided great service. My personal score a 4.9.
Great experience. I was really skeptical about eating a sandwich on a bagel, but I was impressed. Got the Italian, the Griswold and the kids pizza subs. Everyone enjoyed the food and atmosphere. The staff were friendly and helpful. Will be back.
This place was a great find! We came in here for lunch. The service was quick and super friendly. I got the California steamin on an Asiago bagel and my husband got the Philly on jalapeño cheddar. Because the bagels are steamed, the bacon on my bagel was not crispy and was instead chewy. This didn’t bother me much, but fair warning for those who only like crispy bacon. I think next time I would get an everything bagel as the bagel was just a little lacking in flavor. My husband loved his. The bagels are a bit messy so be prepared. We would come again!
Great steamers. So many options to choose between. I went with the club for my first visit but have many others I want to try next. Food was hot and fresh. Even when I got back home to eat, it was still hot and the bagel was soft. So good.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ — “Fastest Sandwich Heist in South Carolina History” It is me. Beau, The Boykin Spaniel South Carolina State dog. Local legend. Sandwich enthusiast. I would like to formally review this “Griswold” steamed bagel situation that I heroically rescued from my human’s neglect. First of all, presentation: 10/10. A mysterious box appeared on the coffee table, radiating the unmistakable aroma of meat, cheese, and destiny. My human foolishly believed “tin foil” and “a closed lid” would stop me. That’s adorable. I am literally bred to retrieve things. This was just… advanced retrieval. Accessibility: surprisingly easy. Box? Opened with ease. Foil? Unwrapped meticulously. Evidence? The 6 year old snitched. Time elapsed: approximately 3 minutes (including pre-heist sniff analysis). Flavor profile: life-changing. Savory. Warm. Slightly forbidden. Notes of “this was not meant for you,” which really elevates the experience. The steamed bagel texture? Soft enough to inhale at maximum velocity, yet sturdy enough to survive my enthusiasm. . Authenticity: strong South Carolina energy. As the official state dog, I can confirm this meal represents our culture: warm, comforting, and best enjoyed quickly before someone else claims it. Would I steal it again? Absolutely. Already planning phase two. Final verdict: This is a must-try. Just wait for your human to take a phone call. They always do. P.S. for some reason my human has begun to call me “Clark” from some “Lampoon” movie.
