Great options - a lot have honey so if you’re vegan just ask for it without! Beautiful atmosphere and great customer service ☺️ I had the ‘I Lava you’ bowl and my partner had the Veggie Vibes sandwich without mayo. He also had the Monkey Smoothie. It was all delicious!!
We visited The Sunrise Shack in Kailua and tried the Tropical Bowl, Monkey Bowl, and an iced latte. The bowls were tasty, but quite overpriced. Unfortunately, the iced latte was very disappointing - watery and lacking flavor. There’s a small outdoor seating area, but it’s hard to enjoy your meal because birds often bother customers. It would be helpful if staff warned guests about this.
Sunrise Shack in Kailua is amazing! The bowls and smoothies felt so fresh and made with really healthy ingredients. You can tell they use top-quality, fresh stuff in everything. I also really liked the sandwich—full of flavor and just as fresh as the rest. It’s very close to the beach, which makes it a perfect spot for a short break. Just a heads up, parking can be tricky to find because of the great location, but it’s totally worth it!
So natural and tasty, even the birds want a bite. My husband and I were honeymooning in Waikīkī and were desperately craving something refreshing and vitamin-packed. Sunrise Shack absolutely delivered. We tried the Monkey Bowl and the açaí bowl—both were fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with all-natural ingredients. The moment we stepped outside, birds literally tried to grab a bite… so no, the “watch out for birds” sign is not a gimmick 😂 10/10 recommend Sunrise Shack Kailua for its calm environment, delicious bowls, and wholesome ingredients. It was a sweet, mindful escape from the chaos of Waikīkī and totally worth the trip.
Absolutely love the bowls and smoothies at Sunrise Shack. So accessible, just a short walk off the beach, and the staff is always friendly and helpful. Looking forward to coming back!
